Overall Comparison
Comparing last year to 2013, the total number of sales in the districts have been up 7% to 21% with an average of 15%. Median sales prices are up from 7.5% to 16%. Both single family residents and condos are seeing the same positive gains.
25% of the sales were sold over the listed price.
Breakdown by Area
Montecito – 143 fine homes/estates were sold, and 18 condos.
Carpinteria/Summerland- 56 homes and beach estates and 51 condos sold.
East of State Street- 182 home sales this quarter and 52 condo sales.
West of State Street- 157 home sales this quarter and 66 condo sales.
Hope Ranch- 22 home/estates sales.
Goleta North and Goleta South- Most homes were sold the first week on the market. North Goleta had 127 home sales and 35 condo sales while South had 71home sales and 40 condo sales.
