The Santa Barbara South County real estate market shows trends and recent sales data for Quarter 2 from 2015-2019. Homes sales priced up to $700,000 have maintained a very slight decline in numbers from 2017. This is largely due do inventory in this price range decreasing, as well as rising home prices. Homes in the $700k-$1 million have made a large increase in sales numbers, reaching a 5 year peak in 2019. All other tiers of home pricing have made an increase in sales numbers since 2018, except for homes priced in between 5 and 7 million, which was a very nominal decline.
The second graph shows the total sales, average prices, median prices and % change year over year. The numbers encapsulate sales data and trends from 2015-2019 and covers the entire South Santa Barbara County, as well as the individual areas within this region.
