Real Estate Sales in Montecito and Santa Barbara were robust for June, July and August! Though the overall number of sales was down year over year, median and average sales prices were “up” (though we did see a dip in July).
As of this writing, overall real estate inventory throughout Santa Barbara, Montecito, Hope Ranch, Carpinteria, Summerland and Goleta remains weak when compared to sales volume, indicating a continued rise in pricing. A favorable interest rate climate could result in solid real estate sales for the Santa Barbara area in the Fall!
