This one-hour program is designed to honor all those who have served and their families. Program includes bagpipers, USMC Color Guard, Pledge of Allegiance & Invocation with live music, guest speakers, and singers to bring to life the PCVF motto – “Never Forgotten.” All are welcome to join us. Seating area provided. Pls arrive no later than 9:45 am. Ceremony starts at 10 sharp and culminates with a flyover of vintage war birds doing two passes – the final one “The Missing Man” pass.

West Coast Chamber Orchestra’s annual candlelight Memorial Day celebration of the glorious music of Johann Sebastian Bach takes place on Monday, May 26th at 8pm (Memorial Day) in the rich acoustic of First United Methodist Church, 305 East Anapamu Street in downtown Santa Barbara. The first half of the program will be conducted by Founder Christopher Story VI, and will include the Air on the G String; Concerto for Two Violins, featuring West Coast Chamber Orchestra Concertmaster Tamsen Deseke and her student, eleven year-old prodigy Alexander Fried, and Fugue in G Minor. The second half of the program, conducted by Associate Conductor Michael Shasberger, will include the Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 and Cantata No. 150 with the Santa Barbara Chamber Singers.
